Perusahaan Sadur Timah Malaysia (PERSTIMA) Berhad is the premier producer and supplier of high-quality prime grade Tinplate for both domestic and export markets. Established on 16 August 1979 and commenced production on 2 April 1982, the plant is equipped with a Horizontal type Continuous Electrolytic Tinning Line using MSA (Methane Sulfonic Acid) process with a total production capacity of 200,000 MT per annum. Located in Pasir Gudang Industrial Estate Johor, Malaysia, the plant has excellent logistic support by virtue of its close proximity to the Pasir Gudang Port.  
   
The Company is certified with ISO 9002:1994 since year 1995, ISO9001:2000 since year 2001 and ISO14001:2004 since 2005. With these ISO certifications our Customers are assured of the highest quality from our products and services.  
   
The Company is dedicated in reducing the impact on the environment, commencing COGEN (combined generator) operations in year 2011 and switching to MSA (Methane Sulfonic Acid) process in year 2012. 

The Company believes in the continuous improvement and upgrade of employee skills, with numerous programs established to provide continual training. Additionally, the management encourages and promotes employees to suggest ideas that contribute towards improvements in every aspect, from production efficiencies, safety and staff well-being.		  
   
   

PERSTIMA (VIETNAM) Co., Ltd

  
In 2002 PERSTIMA Berhad established a wholly owned subsidiary named PERSTIMA (VIETNAM) Co., Ltd as the first tinplate manufacturer in Vietnam. The plant is located in Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) in Thuan An City, Binh Duong Province and commenced commercial production in October 2003. Manufacturing prime grade Tinplate and Tin Free Steel, the plant is equipped with a Halogen type Continuous Electrolytic Tinning Line with a total production capacity of 120,000 MT per annum.

PERSTIMA (VIETNAM) Co., Ltd is certified with ISO 9001:2015, ensuring a systematic approach for meeting customer objectives and providing consistent quality. Additionally, with the ISO 14001:2015 certification processes are in place to reduce environmental impact and increase operating efficiency.		  
   
   

PERSTIMA (PHILIPPINES), Inc.

  
In 2018 PERSTIMA Berhad registered PERSTIMA (PHILIPPINES), Inc with the intention of becoming the first high-quality Tinplate and Tin Free Steel producer in the Philippines, supporting local can manufacturers with state-of-the-art technology. The plant is located in Light Industry & Science Park IV (LISP IV), Malvar, Batangas approximately 60km south of Manila.
